Literally, "big bottle." In Spain, a botellón is when friends gather in the plaza to share a bottle, some food and a good time. That's the spirit we built Botellon on.
Tip: the double "ll" sounds like a "y", and the stress lands on the last syllable.

We wanted a little piece of that Spanish spirit in Graceville. We opened on Honour Ave in May 2019, stripped the brick walls back and built a bar of handmade deep-green tiles.
We're a small, local team who believe hospitality is about friendship, family and community. Come say hi, we'd love to meet you.

I started out waitressing at a local café while I was at university, then went to help Mum at Hunter & Scout next door shortly after graduating. Safe to say I fell in love with hospitality. So instead of pursuing my Bachelor of Nursing, in 2019 I opened Botellon.
Graceville has always been home. I went to school down the road and know a lot of the local community. Botellon was born out of many conversations about wanting more nightlife in the area, and it's become a local favourite ever since.
These days I'm also building Botellon's new little sibling, Enzo's Pasta & Pizza, right here on Honour Ave.
I film it all on my weekly vlog: the busy Saturday nights, the menu tastings, the tile choices and the bits that don't go to plan.
